TÜV AUSTRIA sets examples of corporate sustainability: with 138 e-vehicles, the company not only operates one of the largest e-fleets in Austria, TÜV AUSTRIA is consistently expanding the e-charging infrastructure at its locations – currently 43 charging points – and reports an energy yield of 167 MWh p.a. from its Austrian photovoltaic systems alone.
TÜV AUSTRIA currently operates a total of 280 electric and hybrid vehicles and 82 e-charging stations in Austria and abroad. The photovoltaic energy yield amounts to 376 MWh p.a. (Belgium, Romania and Austria). With the planting of 150,000 seedlings in Romania, the company is proactively starting to create TÜV AUSTRIA forests. Over 1,000,000 trees are to be planted in Europe over the next few years.
TÜV AUSTRIA is active in the research and development of innovative testing services, processes and products and cooperates with leading research institutions in Austria and abroad as a safety technology partner for Industry 4.0 solutions and artificial intelligence.

- 1872: Founded in Vienna as Dampfkesseluntersuchungs- und Versicherungsgesellschaft auf Gegenseitigkeit (DUVG) (Steam Boiler Inspection and Mutual Insurance Company) on 11 June 1872.
